Evaluation of Solution Proposals - How to evaluate received proposals?
Last updated:2020-09-30
The user should be logged into Innoget.com to evaluate the proposals. To log in, please refer to the login page.
Once logged in, the user will have to click on the “My Activity” placeholder in the navigation menu. The “Publications” dashboard will display afterwards.
“Publications” is where the Innovation Needs and Technology Offers published and managed by the user are listed. For each publication the user can view, edit, download, share, archive or extend the deadline based on the publication status and type.
In order to evaluate the received proposals, the user should identify the specific publication to which the proposals have been submitted. This can be done by searching by publication ID or title in the “Publications” search bar, or alternatively, scrolling down the list.
Once the publication is identified, four (4) columns are presented next to the title. Each column represents the status of the proposals received. You should review the proposal and move it according to your preferences:
- New contacts: Contacts that have not been read or processed
- Rejected contacts: Contact read and rejected either because they do not meet the requested criteria or are not of interest. You should provide feedback by selecting available options and/ or introducing your customized message to the submitter.
- Contacted contacts: Contacts that might be of interest and a conversation is initiated with the user that submitted the proposal. You should click on send a message in order to initiate a conversation and move the lead into “contacted contacts”
- Evaluated contacts: Contacts that are evaluated and saved (e.g. when an NDA is signed) or discarded (the contact is of interest but the proposal not of value). You should evaluate the proposal after clicking on the yellow star button and either save the lead contact if you have signed an agreement or want the submitter to be your contact on Innoget or discard the proposal if it is of no interest.
In case of having proposals to evaluate in the “New contacts” column, the user should click on the number so that the list of proposals is displayed.
For each proposal, a preview of the information of the user that submitted the proposal is displayed along with the ID of the proposal, the status and the reception date.
Details of the Evaluation Process
In order to evaluate a proposal, the user should click on the “View details” option at the right. A new page will open with the complete proposal and user information, along with four (4) key actions:
- Reject proposal: By clicking this option the proposal will be moved to “Rejected contacts” and the user will be notified about the rejection of the proposal. There is the possibility to include feedback on why the proposal is rejected.
- Send a message: By clicking this option the proposal will be moved to “Contacted contacts” and the possibility to initiate a conversation with the user that submitted the proposal is enabled.
- View profile: By clicking this option the submitter profile is shown. This option does not modify the status of the proposal.
- View contact details: By clicking this option the proposal will be moved to “Contacted contacts” and the submitter contact details will be shown. The possibility to initiate a conversation with the user that submitted the proposal is enabled.
Once all information required is gathered and therefore it’s feasible to evaluate a proposal, Innoget recommends all users to update the status of the proposal from “Contacted contacts” to “Evaluated contacts” to:
- Provide the user that submitted the proposal with an update on the status of their submission
- In case the proposal is of interest, set it as “Evaluated – Saved” so that the contact is recorded in the Connections list as well as finish the evaluation flow
- In case the proposal is not of interest, set is as “Evaluated – Discarded” to provide the user that submitted the proposal with feedback on why the submission was not of interest as well as finish the evaluation flow.
